It has eight (8) rooms, all comfortable, practical and beautifully decorated with traditional Pelion-style furniture. Every room offers a partial or full view over the city of Volos and the Pagasetic Gulf — a truly unique sight that will stay with your memories of Pelion.
Just before the main square of Makrinitsa you will find “Archontiko Theodora”, where you can choose one of our traditional rooms for your stay.
“Archontiko Theodora” is open all year round. It combines summer trips to the Aegean and local beaches of Pelion with winter activities at the “Agriolefkes” ski centre.

A lovely guesthouse that clearly suits couples, as the rooms are double and small, with a view of the wonderful city of Volos! As for the room, we chose one with a fireplace and it really was a great choice, especially with the bad weather over the Christmas holidays!!!
The room is quite comfortable and clean. Breakfast is included in the price. It is right on the village’s main street leading to the square. Very good value for money. The staff are very friendly.
Most people associate Makrinitsa with winter, but I assure you it is worth visiting at other times of the year too. Theodora’s mansion is about a five-minute walk from the main car park, where at busy times finding a space can be a struggle. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. The rooms are clean, with simple decoration, as it should be. All rooms look out over the Pagasetic Gulf and Volos, whose night lights will enchant you.
A cosy mansion with all the basics: clean towels and sheets, heating, hot water and wi-fi. Breakfast is also served on its lovely balcony with a wonderful view. There is some minor wear… overall satisfying.
Quite affordable, with a very good location and view. The owner was kind and helped us whenever we needed something. The hotel is next to the square and just 2 minutes from the public car park.
A wonderful mansion in the centre of Makrinitsa with clean rooms looking towards Volos, with wooden ceilings and floors. We stayed in number 6, with a pink canopy and a fireplace. We lit it every day and together with the heating it was just perfect. Of course I would go again.
